Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-06-11 · Operator: 64-4 Systems · Contact: admin@slim64fs.org
1. Acceptance
By accessing slim64fs.org (the "Site") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. These terms govern the Site only — the Slim64FS software is governed by its own license (see §3), which these terms do not modify or restrict.
2. The Site
The Site provides documentation, specifications, test results, and project information for the Slim64FS filesystem. The content is informational and is provided "as is": we work hard to keep every claim traceable to committed evidence, but we make no warranty that the Site's content is complete, current, or error-free, and it may change without notice.
3. Software license
The Slim64FS software is released under the MIT License. Your rights to use, copy, modify, and distribute the software come from that license, are deliberately broad, and are not narrowed by anything on this Site. The MIT License's own warranty disclaimer and limitation of liability apply to the software.
4. Acceptable use
You may not attempt to disrupt the Site's operation, probe or attack its hosting infrastructure, or use it to distribute malware. Reading, linking, quoting with attribution, and mirroring of public documentation for archival purposes are all welcome.
5. Intellectual property
Site text and documentation are © 2026 64-4 Systems. The Slim64FS source code is available under the MIT License. Third-party names and marks referenced on the Site (e.g., FAT32, exFAT, ext4, XFS, Btrfs, SD, CFexpress) belong to their respective owners; see the Disclaimer for affiliation statements.
6. External links
The Site links to external resources, including GitHub. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability, or policies.
7. Disclaimer of warranty and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Site and its content are provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, and 64-4 Systems shall not be liable for any damages arising from use of the Site or reliance on its content. For the software, the MIT License's disclaimer governs. See the Disclaimer page — particularly the section on data loss — before deploying any filesystem software.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, and statutory rights of consumers in their country of residence remain unaffected.
8. Changes
We may revise these terms by posting an updated version on this page with a new revision date. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
9. Severability
If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
