Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-11 · Operator: 64-4 Systems · Contact: admin@slim64fs.org
The short version: this is a static documentation site. It has no accounts, no forms, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking cookies, and no third-party embeds — even the fonts are served from this domain. We have designed it so there is almost nothing about you for us to collect.
1. What we collect
Nothing, by the site itself. The pages are static HTML. The site does not set cookies, does not fingerprint, and does not load any third-party scripts, analytics, ad networks, or social-media widgets.
Server logs. Like virtually every web server on the internet, the hosting infrastructure that serves these pages may record standard access logs (IP address, requested URL, timestamp, browser user-agent). These logs exist for security and operational purposes only — detecting abuse, diagnosing outages. They are not used to profile visitors, are not enriched, are not sold, and are not shared except as required by law.
2. Cookies and local storage
The site sets no cookies. The cookie-notice banner stores a
single value in your browser's localStorage
(s64-cookie-consent) so it can remember your choice and stop
asking. That value never leaves your device — it is not transmitted to us or
to anyone else. Storage of this kind is strictly necessary for honoring your
preference and requires no consent under the ePrivacy rules; clearing your
browser storage removes it.
If tracking or analytics are ever added in the future (none is planned), this policy will be updated first and any such mechanism will be gated on an explicit opt-in.
3. Email
If you email admin@slim64fs.org, we receive your address and whatever you write. We use it to reply and for nothing else. Mail is retained as ordinary correspondence and deleted on request.
4. Third-party sites
The site links to external services — notably GitHub for the source repository. Once you follow such a link, that service's own privacy policy governs. We embed no third-party content on our pages, so no third party learns of your visit here merely from loading them.
5. Your rights (GDPR / EU visitors)
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection regarding personal data we hold. In practice the only personal data we could hold about you is email correspondence you initiated and transient infrastructure logs. To exercise any of these rights, email admin@slim64fs.org. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
6. Children
The site collects no personal data from anyone, children included.
7. Changes
Any change to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Material changes will not be applied retroactively.
